This additional 24/7 surveillance capability poses the most serious threat to individual freedom and liberty in the history of the US, dating back to the the Civil War, when the despot Abraham Lincoln jailed political opponents and declared martial law for the first time in American history.
This drone technology makes possible 24/7 surveillance capability by the "federales". and a police state worse than envisioned even by George Orwell's apocalyptic book "1984", which predicted today's America. Today, while we sleep, and while we wake, we have federal agencies such as HSA, CIA, FBI, EPA, NSA, US Military Intelligence, and other secret govt agencies, controlling and monitoring the activities of Americans as never before.
If you are on the internet, or using a credit card, or texting, or having a telephone conversation, then this activity is being recorded and sifted through by the world's most powerful data mining computers at the Pentagon and in Crystal City, Washington DC.
If you happen to utter the wrong phrase, or combination of words (and you know what they are!), then US government data mining software will flag you. The law requires a FISA court order to do this, but this is being entirely ignored by the Obama administration and the captive main stream media. So you can be placed on "no fly" list, or have your home invaded by gun toting federales such as the FBI.

2) The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
3) All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.
4) ...though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression.
