New Terror Campaign By Iran and Hezbollah

New Terror Campaign By Iran and Hezbollah

A sophisticated group of conspirators were involved on July 19, 2012 in the suicide bombing that killed five Israelis and a Bulgarian, and they spent at least a month in Bulgaria before the attack. The suicide attacker who targeted a bus filled with Israeli vacationers did not act alone. Those involved used "leased vehicles, they moved in different cities so as not to be seen together, and no two of them can be seen in one place on any security camera." The people behind the blast were "exceptionally skilled" and operated under "strict conspiracy rules." DNA samples from the suicide bomber have been shared with  security services. The suicide attack occurred at the airport of the Black Sea resort town of Burgas as the Israelis were disembarking the aircraft and had just boarded the bus. Along with the five vacationing Israelis and Bulgarian bus driver who were killed, dozens of other people were wounded.

Comments of Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu (7-22-12):

"we've been witnessing over the last two years, an Iranian-sponsored global campaign, along with Hezbollah, to launch terror attacks against Israelis, and not only Israelis, they tried to murder the Saudi ambassador in Washington and were willing to take several senators with him. They've covered about 24 countries in five continents, including the attacks in Bulgaria and an attack in Cyprus a few days before. We are vigilant about the possibility that they would attack elsewhere..."

"On the Olympics we know that Iran and Hezbollah have been carrying out attacks. Most of them failed because of intelligence successes that we and some other services have had. Some of them, unfortunately, succeeded, as the tragedy in-- in Bulgaria shows. But we-- we are always vigilant."

"Iran and Hezbollah have been carrying out these attacks in all these countries, Kenya,  Cyprus before that,  Thailand,  India, many, many countries in many-- many continents."

"A week before (the Bulgarian attack) in Cyprus, a Hezbollah operative was captured and arrested. He admitted that his task was to get at Israeli passengers, prepare the attack of Israeli passengers who get off a plane and then they would be targeted with a terrorist attack. This exact same pattern was followed in both Cyprus and Bulgria. So we can surmise intelligently, that if Hezbollah backed by Iran did this in Cyprus a week earlier, and then the same modus operandi repeats itself in Bulgaria, that the same people were involved in both attacks. That would be an intelligence surmise for those who can see that. I as the prime minister of Israel, see  more than that. And I give you a clear statement. We have unquestionable, fully substantiated intelligence that this was done by Hezbollah backed by Iran."

"The reason regimes and organizations use terror tactics is to avoid the consequences. The first act in fighting terrorism is to name and shame the terrorist nations and the terrorist organizations. Naming them is what I'm doing now in your program"

"The most important first step is to expose Iran's culpability. This is not only an Israeli issue. They've targeted Israelis, but they've also targeted and killed, nationals of other countries. Hezbollah and Iran together have claimed the lives of others as well. And the systematic attack in dozens of countries, in five continents is allowing terror to sweep over the globe. And if you don't stop it, it gets worse and worse and worse.  I think it's important for the entire international community to stop this wave of terror. Also, consider what would be the consequences of these people who murder diplomats, who roll over embassies, who send terrorist suicide bombers into buses. Just imagine what the consequence would be if these people and if this regime got a hold of nuclear weapons. I think the most important message that I could give is stop-- expose the terrorists, stop the terrorists, and make sure that the world's most dangerous regime doesn't get the world's most dangerous weapons."
